CertRemainTime Checks Time Remaining for Yalu Jailbreak

The Yalu jailbreak is just like the Pangu jailbreak before it, and it relies on certificates that have run out dates. You need to re-sign the jailbreak with Cydia Impactor before the expiration date to keep your jailbroken state.

No matter which kind of certificate you are having, either it’s a regular 7-day certificate or a 1-year developer certificate, it will not last forever, and a new jailbreak app called CertRemainTime by lululombard will help you in keeping track of it.

What is CertRemainTime?

CertRemainTime is a straightforward app that helps you to get added to your Home screen that’s always deliberately aware of how long your Yalu jailbreak has before it is required to be re-signed.

It’s a dead-easy app and there’s not a great deal to it, as you’re about to see:

It simply shows you when your license is set to expire, and as you are able to see because I just re-signed my jailbreak on Tuesday, February 7th it will be lasting until the very next Tuesday, February 14th.

CertRemainTime report for Yalu Jailbreak

The app will find your jailbreak certificate information automatically and will report the date and time that it is set to expire in the app, with no configuration at all.

It’s a great friend app for the absent-minded, and moreover, it’s always great to have a utility that helps to keep you psychologically conscious of when it’s time to keep a computer near you. After all, if you restart your device when the official document expires, and you don’t have a computer nearby, you’ll end up jailbreak-less unless you get back to your computer once more.

While the border of the app itself is not anything to get excited over, I must say I really like that app icon. And moreover, I think it’s a great tool for any jailbroken device where the license expires.

If you’re among persons who have a strengthen trap for a mind and do not forget when your jailbreak will expire, then I’ll have to hand you the well done and tell you that you’ll never require this app, but for those who don’t, you need to check it out.

It’s a free install in Cydia’s Bigboss arsenal and works on all plans jailbroken with the Yalu jailbreak for iOS 10. However, it’s open-sourced on GitHub if you’re attracted in learning further about the source code.

Note: The app will only work if you’ve jailbroken with Cydia Impactor. If you have jailbroken with a different way, like a web browser, the app is not guaranteed to work.

Do you love the idea at the back having an app that can help you in keeping track of your certificate expiration date.
